Scranton is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Scranton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Immensely cool overlook! Seriously such an interesting view! And the "building" itself is super great and a wonderful spot to have pictures taken!

It's a great spot, but people need to stop vandalism on it.

This was worth the stop even in the rain. We took a short hiked to the treehouse and then to see the falls.

Absolutely breathtaking views from the David Wenzel Tree House-literally and figuratively. As we were admiring the forest, I spotted something dangling in the breeze... and I kid you not, it was a Betty Boop (at least I believe it to be) swinging like she was on a mission from dora.. at least that's what my five year old boy said. Between the spectacular 150-foot height, the peaceful trails, this park is the place to go for surprises. 10/10 would come back-if only to see if Betty's still hanging in there! 🩷

Beautiful look out spot. It's all ramps to get there so dog friendly and wheelchair accessible. Perfect during fall when leaves are changing. You can see the gorge through the trees.
